Pastor

Dr. Chris Partin

I was called as Pastor of Plymouth Church on August 1, 2006. I grew up in Garner and actually accepted Christ at Plymouth Church when I was eight years old on June 23, 1981.

I am now returning to pastor a church that I love and know well. My wife Dawn and I have been married since 1997 and we have three wonderful children. I am passionate about preaching God's Word and reaching people for Christ.

In 2018 I experienced some major health issues. The church family stood by me and my family and the whole experience made us all closer to one another and to the Lord. Now I am healthy and have a new perspective and outlook on life. I take nothing for granted and my life's motto is: Life Is Short - Live It well!

Ministry Experience: New Bethel Baptist Church in Garner, Ephesus Baptist in Raleigh, Olive Chapel Baptist in Apex, and New Beginnings Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Youth Ministry Director

Dawn Currin

I have been in church at Plymouth for as long as I can remember. I accepted Christ as my Savior at Summer Camp with our youth group. I have always had a passion to work with and help others. For years (almost 20) I have worked in different ministry areas at Plymouth Church, mostly with children's ministry programs.

I been blessed to be the Youth Minister at Plymouth for more than seven years now. It is my desire to grow more in Christ as I help to mentor the students in the Plymouth Church Youth Ministry. I pray that the Lord continues to work through my ministry at Plymouth and that the Youth continue to want to learn, serve, and worship the Lord more.
