around in my 1989 Camaro. I also love being around people and I am blessed
to have many great friends.

Favorite Scripture: Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways says the Lord. As the heavens are higher than
the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your
thoughts."

trust also in me."
In 1996 my husband, Durwood and I entered
the sanctuary at Plymouth Church.  It was my
first visit; however Durwood had attended
Plymouth his entire childhood.  In a short time I
realized being apart of the body of Christ made
my life more meaningful.  I am convinced that
steady and persistent interaction with the body
of Christ brings contentment to our lives.  I am
so thrilled to be able to contribute something at
Plymouth each week.
Music Minister, Elaine Ball
Ministry Experience:  My father is a minister; therefore I grew up being active
in choir, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and regular worship.  My 13
years as minister of music at Plymouth has led to many spiritual blessing in
my life.

Family:  I'm the mother of four beautiful children.  Two daughters, Jessica and
Christie, and two sons, Justin and Troy.  I am thankful for my son in law and
daughter in law.  I have always felt a mother's love is very similar to the way
God cares for us.  Just as God needs to know we care for him so do our
children.

Hobbies and Interests:  Gardening, Contentment is found when the first
bloom of a rose opens, the first monarch butterfly of late summer, the baby
bluebird peeping from the nest looking for it's mother.  May we never forget to
thank God for all the beauty he has placed here just for us.

Favorite Scripture:  "Those who obey my commandments are the ones who
love me.  And because they love me, my father will love them, and I will love
them.  And I will reveal myself to each one of them."  John 14:21
After being relocated to Raleigh from
Williamsport, PA in 2004, my husband,
Mark and I began our search for a
church.  It led us to Plymouth where we
have been welcomed openly and have
made many good friends.  Plymouth is a
church where we can use what God has
blessed us with and minister to others.
Secretary, Michele Cowell
Ministry Experience: Serving for 15 years as the secretary/bookkeeper at The
Christian Church at Cogan Station, I was thrilled when offered the opportunity
to continue working in the church and serving the Lord at Plymouth as their
secretary and bookkeeper.

Family: I'm the mother of three daughters, two sons in law and one wonderful
grandson.  Chris, Jennifer and Owen live in Williamsport, Andrew and Emily in
Cleveland, OH and Erin in Harrisburg, PA. They bring much joy to my life!

Favorite Scripture:  "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither
angels or demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither
height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."   Rom. 8:38-39
Since I did not accept Christ until eighth grade,
my church life began in the youth group. This
very reason may be why God called me into
youth ministry. He has really placed a desire in
my heart for the salvation of youth. Growing up
the oldest of five children raised by a single
mother, I undertook many responsibilities and
went through many hardships not experienced
by my peers. God is now using these things from
my childhood to shape my ministry and give me a
strong desire for youth to find Him now as it was
His love in my life that kept me from falling into many temptations that I went
through during high school and now into college. I believe that if I had not come
to the realization that I was a sinner in need of a savior and had not given
everything over to Him I would be a different person today.
